Job Description:
As an Azure Cloud Engineer at Semanticly, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Azure-based cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of our cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Azure Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud resources, including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, and Azure Active Directory.
Resource Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize Azure resources for cost-efficiency and performance.
Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain robust security measures, identity management, and compliance standards in alignment with industry best practices.
Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools like PowerShell, Azure Resource Manager templates, or Terraform.
Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
Collaboration: Work closely with development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment processes.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Azure resources, configurations, and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2+ years of experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in Azure services and solutions.
Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-300/301) preferred.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell or similar languages.
Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in Azure.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
